How it works here
Modern cars run dozens of control modules on a shared network. We scan all of them, read the fault history and test the wiring and power supply before replacing a module. When a part does need replacing, we code it to the car so it works the way the original did.
What is battery registration?
On BMW, MINI and many Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche models the charging system adjusts to the age and type of the battery. Registration tells the car a new battery is installed. Skipping it can overcharge the new battery and shorten its life.
Can you code a used or replacement module?
Often, yes. It depends on the module and the car. Tell us the part and the vehicle and we will say up front whether it can be coded.
Do you do high-voltage work on electric vehicles?
No. On EVs we do general upkeep such as tires, brakes and suspension. For high-voltage battery or drive-unit repair we will point you to the right specialist.
